Residents of Macon-Bibb will soon have recycling picked up from their houses.
Friday was the first day the county began distributing the new recycling bins.
The new bins mark the beginning of the new recycling program that will take place on January 4th.
The Macon-Bibb County Commission approved plans to expand recycling and changes to garbage pickup service on November 17th.
